Umpire Fitness

Description

COURSE OVERVIEW

Despite popular belief, you must be in good physical condition to be a BASEBALL UMPIRE.  Whether you are doing 300 squats behind the plate, running up the 3rd base line to cover a rotation, or running to keep up with a naked triple as a base umpire, umpire fitness is many times under rated.  Learn what to do to keep yourself in shape, how to stretch before your game, and keep yourself from getting injured by not staying in top physical condition.

Be sure to consult with your doctor to ensure you will not be adversely affected by engaging in any or all of the activities we show in our fitness lessons.
